The renderer is ours and it does the work — it reads the elevation of every metre you crossed and draws the land from its actual shape. This is early access, so we still run each render ourselves and check the result before it goes out. That is why there are only so many a week, and why it is US$19 rather than the automated price. When the pipeline opens up it gets cheaper, not dearer.

Nothing, after seven days. Your track, your photos and the finished film are deleted. There is no account to make and no profile to fill in — we do not ask you to create one, and we do not ask for your name. The record of the sale itself is kept, because tax law requires it, and it contains no part of your route.

The claim about your browser is checkable: open developer tools, go to the Network tab, and drop a GPX above. It makes no requests.

Because map tiles cannot legally be sold inside a video — Mapbox, MapTiler, Esri and Google all forbid it. So the terrain is built from open elevation data and Sentinel-2 imagery, which are licensed for commercial use. It is also a look nobody else has.

Not yet. Films use a track we own outright or a free-licensed one you pick from a short list. Own-music upload is a real plan, but it brings copyright obligations that need to be built properly rather than bolted on.

That is fine and it is the normal case — a chat app strips it, and most cameras never had it. Photos are placed in the order you choose them. If you want them somewhere specific, place them yourself and send the result.
